Anna Khachumova
Provisional Psychologist
Anna is a Provisional Psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology. She brings a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to her work, with experience supporting individuals with a range of psychological, behavioural, developmental, and emotional needs. Anna has background experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, supporting individuals to better understand their behaviours, develop practical coping strategies, and build skills that promote greater independence. She also has experience in supporting people experiencing distress and difficult life circumstances. These experiences have strengthened her ability to provide calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental support during challenging times.
Anna has a particular interest in working with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression and stress. She is passionate about helping people develop greater self-understanding, make sense of their experiences, and build practical skills to navigate challenges in ways that feel meaningful to them.
Her approach is client-centred and informed by evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and drawing skills from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She is committed to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practice, tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, values, and goals.
